Last night I shot popular Greek power metallers Firewind and their opening band, the Norwegian/German outfit Leaves’ Eyes, at the O2 Academy in Islingon, London for MetalMouth. Power metal isn’t really my scene but both bands played really strong sets, with Firewind’s virtuoso guitarist, Gus G, putting on a particularly impressive display of his characteristic shredding.
